5th anniversary gift he actually got emotional about
I gave this to my husband Michael for our 5th anniversary and he honest-to-god teared up. The moment he read our names carved into the ribbon he just went quiet. The wood is deep and heavy, nothing plastic-y about it, and the engraving is razor-sharp. Kept on our bedroom dresser now — every guest asks about it. Worth every penny.
Better in person than the photos
Ordered for our 8th, arrived faster than expected all the way to Australia. The walnut has a beautiful natural grain and the tree branches on top are more delicate/detailed than they look online. Small enough to sit on a bookshelf but has real presence. James loved it.
3rd anniversary — leather wasn't for us, this was perfect
Wood is the modern 5th anniversary but honestly walnut felt right for the 3rd too. Kindred's engraving on our names and date is beautiful — deep black burn, not painted on. Sits on a small shelf in our living room, catches the sunlight in the afternoons and looks like a small heirloom already.
Feels like a real heirloom
The photos don't do the wood grain justice — you can see the fine ribbon of walnut running through the whole piece. Solid, weighty. Robert put it on his home office desk. Little branch on top makes it feel more special than a plain infinity symbol. 10/10.
One of my favorite purchases this year
William and I have been married 4 years and I wanted something we could actually keep out (not a picture in a drawer). This is the answer. Not too big, not too small — probably 8 inches tall. The heart in the middle is my favorite part. Only nitpick — packaging could be slightly sturdier for international shipping but nothing broke.
Beautiful custom detail on the engraving
Ordered our names + date and Owen actually replied within a few hours to confirm the spacing before he burned it. The finished piece has our names on the ribbon curve and 'October 9, 2017' along the bottom of the loop. Everything centered perfectly. You can tell someone actually looked at the mockup, not just auto-machined it.
First anniversary gift, absolutely nailed it
Traditional 1st is paper, but Benjamin and I aren't traditional. This walnut infinity heart tree was the perfect first anniversary gift. It's SO much more substantial than the photos — feels like something you'd find at a museum gift shop. On our entryway console table now.
9 years in and this still hit
Been married almost a decade and gifts get harder every year. Alexander opened this on our anniversary morning and just said 'wow, that's really us.' The tree branches on top were the detail that got him. Walnut is a warm rich brown, not the fake dark stain you sometimes see. Wonderful piece.
